Browser Requirements
- Chromium browsers (Brave, Chrome, Edge, Opera, Vivaldi): Version 90+
- Firefox & Safari: Not tested
Performance
- Minimum: 8GB RAM for light to moderate usage
- Recommended: 16GB RAM for large datasets, analytics-heavy workflows, and multi-tab sessions
- Stable internet connection required
- Minimum resolution: 1280x720
- Recommended resolution: 1920x1080
- Systems below the recommended baseline may still run UXit, but performance can degrade under heavier analytical workloads
VPN Usage
VPNs are permitted, but some shared or previously flagged VPN IP addresses may be limited by upstream protections. If access fails while using a VPN, disconnect or change your VPN routing IP.
Storage & Limits
File Constraints
- JSON import: Approximately 5MB maximum per file
- Images: 5MB maximum per file (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF)
Annotation Image Uploads
Annotation image uploads support JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP files. Video uploads are not supported for annotations.
Images must be 5MB or smaller before upload. UXit automatically optimizes supported images before storage by resizing large images to a maximum 1290px long edge, converting them to WebP, and compressing them to a maximum stored file size of 1MB.

Security & Data
Account Protection
- Signup is facilitated through Google OAuth
- Suspicious login activity may trigger additional protection measures
- Data access is restricted through application-layer authorization and database security policies
- Row Level Security (RLS) is used to enforce tenant-level access controls at the database layer
Data Management
- Backups: Account data is backed up automatically every day
- Offline mode: Not available (download JSON for local work)
