Update your personal information, profile photo, email, and password access.
Overview
Account is where you review and manage the identity UXit uses inside the app. It includes Personal Information and Password.
Current public sign-up is OAuth-first through providers such as Google, GitHub, and Microsoft. Legacy email/password access may still exist for older or custom-domain account paths, but new self-serve sign-up uses OAuth. More sign-in providers may be added later.
Provider-managed identity
OAuth providers control the source account. UXit can display profile details from that provider, but name, email, password, and connected-app access are ultimately managed on the provider side.
Personal Information
Use Personal Information to review the profile details shown across UXit.
Depending on the provider, UXit may receive:

UXit does not pull in broader personal information from your OAuth account. If a provider does not supply a field, or if you want a different avatar inside UXit, you can add a custom profile photo.
Profile Photo
Click your avatar to upload a profile photo. If a custom photo exists, use reset it to remove the override and return to the provider photo when one is available.
Provider support varies. Google accounts commonly provide a profile photo. GitHub may provide one if your account has an avatar. Microsoft accounts may not provide an avatar in every workspace or tenant setup, so you may need to upload one manually.
Supported image types are JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP. The maximum upload size is 5 MB.
Name
The name fields are First name and Last name.
For OAuth accounts, these values come from the provider and are read-only in UXit. For legacy email/password accounts, editable name fields may be available in UXit.
Email Address
Use Email Address to view the email attached to your UXit account.
For OAuth accounts, email is managed by the provider. For legacy email/password accounts, changing the email sends a confirmation link to the new address before the change takes effect.
Password
OAuth accounts
If you signed in with Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or another OAuth provider, your password is managed by that provider instead of UXit.
Use Change Password only for legacy email/password accounts. It sends a secure reset link to the account email.
Save Changes
Account profile edits use the footer actions. Save Changes becomes available when an editable profile field or custom avatar changes. Use Cancel to discard unsaved profile changes.
Some Settings actions do not use Save Changes: password reset sends an email immediately, data export downloads a file, and account deletion starts from the confirmation field in Privacy.
Best Practices
- Use a recognizable name for team and client-facing work.
- Use a work-appropriate avatar; it may appear next to your work in UXit.
- Upload a custom avatar if your provider image is missing or not the one you want shown.
- Manage provider-controlled name, email, password, and app access from your OAuth account.
- Confirm legacy email changes from your inbox before using the new email.
