Artifact Files
Browse and manage uploaded file artifacts stored in your workspace.
Overview
The Files tab is the file-management side of the Artifacts workspace.
Use it to browse, review, and manage uploaded file artifacts such as images, videos, and other supported media files. While files may appear in other testing workflows, this page is the central place where stored file artifacts are maintained over time.
File Table
The Files tab displays uploaded file artifacts in a searchable, sortable table.
Each row helps you understand what the file is, who uploaded it, when it was added, and whether it is still connected to active test content.
The table currently shows:
- File: The file name, thumbnail preview, and image dimensions when available.
- Type: The stored file type.
- Size: The storage size of the uploaded file.
- Associated: The current file association, or a deleted-association state when the linked artifact no longer exists.
- Owner: The person who uploaded the file.
- Date: When the file was added.
- Edit: Opens the full row actions menu for that file.
Search, Filter, And Selection
Use Search files to find files by name.
Use the All files filter to narrow the table when you want to focus on a specific subset of stored files.
Sort the table columns to suit your workflow, and select one or more rows to enable bulk actions such as Re-attach or Delete.
File Associations
The Associated column shows how a file is connected to test content.
These states are communicated with both icon changes and color changes so they remain easier to distinguish without relying on color alone.
A file can appear in one of these states:
- Linked: The file is currently associated with a test artifact. The column shows the linked artifact name.
- Deleted evaluation: The file was associated with an evaluation that has since been deleted. The association is no longer active, but the file remains in storage.
- Unlinked: The file exists in storage without any current association.
Removing a file from a test does not necessarily delete it from storage. File artifacts are managed from the Files tab so they can be reviewed, reused, or re-attached later if needed.
Re-attach Files
Use Re-attach to begin connecting a stored file to an evaluation again. The dialog allows you to select an evaluation for the selected file.
Delete Files
Use Delete to permanently remove selected files from storage when they are no longer needed, are no longer attached to active evaluations, or are only taking up storage space.
Warning
Deleting file artifacts is permanent and cannot be undone.
Edit Column
The table includes an Edit column for file-level actions. Use the row ellipsis menu to fully manage an individual file from the table, including downloading the file.
Pagination
Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to move through larger result sets. The footer also shows how many artifacts are currently visible versus the total available, such as Showing artifacts: 10 of 10.
