Data & Privacy

Learn how UXit handles data ownership, storage, exports, and security protections.

Data Ownership

Your evaluation and tenant data belong to you and will never be resold to third-party data brokers, advertisers, marketers, or other unrelated third parties. UXit maintains persistent tenant storage so your work remains available while your account is active.

Important

Never store classified, regulated, or highly sensitive personal data in UXit. This platform is not intended for data subject to HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar regulated compliance requirements.

For additional legal and privacy details, refer to the UXit Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

AI Policy

UXit does not use customer data to train AI models. Your evaluations, tenant data, uploads, and related artifacts will never be used to train UXit-owned or third-party AI systems. If AI-assisted features are introduced in the future, they will be processed through external API-based services under separate feature-specific controls and documentation, not through AI training on your data on-platform.

Security

VPN Access

VPNs are permitted, but some shared or previously flagged VPN IP addresses may be limited by upstream security protections. If access fails while using a VPN, disconnect or change your VPN routing IP.

UXit uses security and stability protections to help keep the platform reliable for end users. If you notice a security issue, availability problem, or unexpected access behavior, contact UXit support so it can be reviewed.

Account Data Retention

UXit keeps your workspace data available while your account is active. If UXit introduces inactivity-based retention limits in the future, those limits will be documented before enforcement begins.

Data Export

Important

Exports are limited to 1 export per 12 hours.

You can export your data directly from your user settings.

Two export types are available:

  • Test Artifacts: Structured test data exported as raw JSON
  • File Artifacts: UXit-hosted file assets such as images and videos. This export type is still in development and is not currently available.

Depending on the size of your export, processing may take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Keep the window open until the download completes.

User Tenant Storage

All UXit accounts have access to the same core features. The primary difference between account types is hosted storage allocation.

Your tenant includes storage for both structured data and file assets with no artificial limits on artifact types. You can allocate your hosted storage however you need: 999 images and 1 test, or 999 tests and 1 image.

Storage Types

  • Artifact Tests: Structured data such as test configurations, evaluation data, and metadata.
  • Artifact Files: Binary assets such as images, videos, and uploads.

These use a 1:12 allocation ratio within your hosted storage quota. Both count toward your total tenant storage.

Image Optimization

Uploaded images are automatically optimized and converted to WebP where appropriate to reduce hosted storage usage.

This applies to UXit-hosted file assets, including reference images attached during review workflows. Downloaded hosted images may not match the original upload exactly because the stored version may be compressed or converted.

Third-party Software

UXit incorporates third-party and open-source software components. These components remain subject to their respective licenses and notices.
